Jello Jigglers

makes a bunch
about 3 1/2 hours

2 1/2 cups boiling water or juice
2 large "family size" packages of Jell-o, or 4 packages of the 4 serving size, any flavour or combination of flavours
(I like strawberry/raspberry)

Pour the boiling water into a large bowl. Add the Jell-o to the water. Stir. Stir more. Stir some more – in my great Jello Jiggler experience, I've found that you *really* need to stir the Jell-o to avoid getting those crunchy bits in the bottom. That's also why I try to add the Jell-o to the water, instead of the other way around, as this seems to help get it all disolved. Give it another stir, don't be shy.

Pour into a 9×13 pan, lightly oiled. I like to mist with a cooking spray, then barely wipe it off with a paper towel. Chill for about 3 hours, or until firm, and the Jell-o does not stick to your finger. Longer chill time is better, in my opinion.

Now, for adult Jello – 2 cups boiling juice or water, 3 oz of alcohol of choice. My favourite combinations are: peach schnapps and orange jello; lime and tequila; rum and strawberry; vodka and raspberry; Hpnotiq and blue raspberry. Yum.  See the comments – apparently we can add up to 19oz of alcohol, and still get a good jelling factor!
